About

As a Latina, scientist, and science educator, I am personally familiar with the inequity that exists for women of color in the science world. I hope that my studies will help fill a gap in what we know about culturally relevant ways to include Latina/os in science, as well as to advocate for effectively inclusive, equitable science education practices for Latina/o students that are socially just and transformative.
